Cloward and Piven

I'm sure you've heard a lot of talk about Cloward and Piven. Or maybe this is the first time for some of you. Let me explain on layman's terms what they're talking about.

Cloward-Piven is a strategy for forcing political change through orchestrated crisis.

The strategy was first proposed in 1966 by Columbia University political scientists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven as a plan to bankrupt the welfare system and produce radical change. Sometimes known as the "crisis strategy" or the the "flood-the-rolls, bankrupt-the-cities strategy," the Cloward-Piven approach called for swamping the welfare rolls with new applicants - more than the system could bear. It was hoped that the resulting economic collapse would lead to political turmoil and ultimately socialism.

The National Welfare Rights Organization (NWRO), founded by African-American militant George Alvin Wiley, put the Cloward-Piven strategy to work in the streets. Its activities led directly to the welfare crisis that bankrupted New York City in 1975.

Veterans of NWRO went on to found the Living Wage Movement and the Voting Rights Movement, both of which rely on the Cloward-Piven strategy and both of which are spear-headed by the radical cult ACORN.

Both the Living Wage and Voting Rights movements depend heavily on financial support from George Soros's Open Society Institute.

Now, in English, they want to overwhelm the system that we currently have, because they don't like it. They don't want to convince people to vote against it in the next election, like they want us to do. We have to play by the rules, but they don't. They'll go around the rules, and overwhelm the system and collapse it so it fails and they can put up their system that they like better. You see, they know that not enough people in the United States of America actually would vote for their system of government, so they have to FORCE it on us.

So, what they are going to do is change the rules, and BROADEN the entitlement program, knowing full well that the United States government can't actually pay for everything. Where is all the money coming from to pay for putting more people on Welfare, and Medicare, and Medicaid? They don't care, and there isn't enough money and they actually know it. When they increase the middle class, they aren't lifting up the poor, they're driving down the rich. So, when they start taxing the "rich," and run out of rich to tax, who do you think they'll turn to to tax? They'll lower the bar and tax a lower bracket. But I'm getting ahead of myself, we're not talking taxes yet, we're talking entitlements.

So, they broaden the base of the welfare rolls. They get more and more people on entitlements. What are the entitlements? Welfare, SSI, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Assisted Living, did I leave any out? Did you know Obama is bribing the American people now in his health care bill? Yea, we're gonna get a tax break on the health care. We're gonna get subsidized by a tax break when we file if we make under $88,200 for a family of 4. Wow, I'm gonna get free health care now. I just got a pay off. I think I need a shower.

You know what, my son is on SSI because he's disabled. It's now March 6, 2010. I had to call the Social Security office this past week because I never got the form saying how much SSI he received. Don't I have to file taxes for him? Or is that just free income, don't need to report it? Just a free handout? We don't care who we give SSI to... And this is the government I want running my health care? When I called and asked about it, they thought I was crazy. I've been filing taxes since I was 18 years old. That's 28 years for those that care to do the math. I know you have to file every year....even if you only have SSI. Darn, I'm an honest person. Who is this honest person calling? I had to explain to the woman 3 times what I wanted and why.

Now, they also want to include more people in this bracket. What do you think that will do to our economy? You've already heard that Social Security is in trouble. Have you heard that Medicare is not reimbursing at what the doctors want to charge? Do you really think that doctors are putting their kids through college on the price of an MRI? They don't get that money....Doctors are spend long hours in the beginning in training....in residency....in their wives putting up with them being gone...in missing their kids....I know because my uncle is a doctor. He's a general practitioner, not a specialist. A specialist puts in even more school time and more time in residence. They deserve their pay. If you lower the price of the services, you're gonna drive doctors into early retirement and make it where you get low quality doctors. Of course they come in for the pay. You get what you pay for. There has to be a reason to do it. So, how good will your health care be when all the hospitals go out of business, the doctors retire early, and the insurance companies go out of business because they've been fined $1 per day per life covered for not filing their report the right way on the right forms? The government is involved now, and you can't use the forms you've always used....you didn't consult the government on the standard procedures to file...

This is not about health care. This is about fundamentally changing our government.

If this was about health care, they would take the suggestions that were offered by the Republicans. And the bill wouldn't be 2074 pages long, Democrats wouldn't be dropping like flies off a dead horse, and stopping their careers because they know they HAVE to vote for it. How many Democrats have said they won't run next year? That frees them up to vote for it with no repercussions. I didn't get thrown out of office, I quit. We don't have to play by the rules and get this voted on by the people, we're gonna collapse the government with a Cloward and Piven.

And if that's not enough, they want to tax only those who make $250,000 and above, right? But they won't adjust it for any cost of living raises. How long do you think that will stay there? Eventually they will catch everyone. When we get hyper-inflation, and you're paying $10 for a loaf of bread, and the bosses have to raise your wages to keep up, suddenly everyone is making $20 an hour, don't think that bar looks too far away. I've read history.....was it Germany in Hitler's day when they were walking around with wheel barrows full of money to buy groceries?

And if Obama has control of health care...do you think the older generation will get health care? They're the ones who know history. They're ones who know these things. I got news for you. Mr. President. Home schooling is alive and well in the United States. Unless you outlaw it, you can't get rid of all history. We will barricade ourselves in our homes and teach our children the truth.
