First they came for the communists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Introduction

"If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their watchman, and he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows the trumpet and warns the people, then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head.... But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his inequity; but his blood I will require from the watchman's hand." Ezekiel 33:2b-6 I have not been appointed, but I feel the weight of the watchman, because I see the sword coming. How can I not warn the people?

Chinese Elderly - Do they consider themselves to be our Father?

So, with China being our bank, I decided to do a little research on the country. The comments of Senator McCain's daughter were running through my head as I searched. Like, a revolution is started by 20 year olds, you know, not by 65 year olds, you know, like, for sure. Gaw! Don't you know anything, you dork! Like gag me with a spoon. Oops, wrong generation. That was when *I* was 20, back in the 1980's. And the era of the Valley Girls. Like gag me with a pitch fork.

Well, I've always heard that China revered their elderly population, so I started my research there. What would our bankers think of little Miss McCain dissing her dad like that?

The population of China's elderly right now, and they consider over 60 to be elderly, to be 128 million, that's 1 in 10. By the year 2050, it's expected to be 400 million. That's more than the entire population of America. And that's just the elderly. That doesn't include those under 60. Right now there's forced retirement. You think you have it bad America? If you can't make ends meet, you don't have to retire, you keep right on working. They don't have a choice. The government there wants the young to be able to enter the work force, so they force men to retire at 60 and women to retire at 50. Wow, if I weren't a stay at home mom, and had a job, I'd only have 4 more years to do it. I'm still young. I'm still able to do a job. Fifty years old is not that old, I certainly don't consider it to be elderly, do you? Well, maybe if you're 20. I remember when I was 20, I couldn't imagine myself living to be 50. Of course, in today's society, that may still come true. I'm not sure Obama can keep us alive for 4 more years.

So, according to statistics, 23% of China's elderly live by themselves. I suppose part of the problem is the one child policy. They have to move away from their towns to find employment. They have found a solution of sorts to take care of their elderly. One solution is something called a time bank. If you have been forced to move out of your town and leave an elderly parent or parents, you can put time in taking care of someone else's parents. Every hour you put in, someone else puts in taking care of your parents. I suppose if your parents die, you can withdraw the time when you need it yourself, as you age. The story they told was of a woman who had a mother in her 90's. She had someone come over and clean her house and keep her company for a while.

And guess what? China is exploring the option of Medicare. Wow, like they didn't see how it's failed miserably over here? But they have pension homes, and only .6% of the elderly are provided for. Do you think maybe that's because they don't have enough land? Hmmm, I did read somewhere that China was buying up an awful lot of OUR land....I wonder if there's a connection there?

That brings me to another article I found. It's tradition that the Chinese people have a lot more kinship terms than we do. They prefer to live together, or closely. We have the terms mother, father, aunt, uncle, etc. They break it down into which side of the family you're from, what the birth order was, what generation you're from, etc. And a son is more revered than a daughter. A father-son relationship is more than respect. It is servitude. A father has the right to guide, teach, abuse, beat and even kill his son if he so chooses. It is respected vs respect; order vs obedience; lord vs servant. The son can't even call the parent by name. It makes me wonder if China doesn't feel a parent-child relationship with America. And if so, what are they trying to teach us? And will it come to discipline? And how severe? And is Obama the anointed son? And I wonder if that's not why the McCain-Palin ticket wasn't so successful?

The elderly, since they are forced into retirement at 50 for women and 60 for men, still have a need for recreation. They spend their time in parks, doing ti chi, exercising and chatting with friends. They often fly kites, as it's free. But the parks are going to fill up. What are they going to do when there are 400 million "elderly" flying kites in the park? Chinese culture would rather have 4 generations living under the same roof. They can't do that in China. They could do that in America. Like Obama keeps telling everyone over here in the great land of opportunity, we have 3% of the population but use 23% of the resources. So, with China already owning land here, why not move her people over here? Not sounding as far fetched as it once was, is it? China is our banker. What if they decide to call us on our loans? All you tree huggers: Are you prepared to lose the National Parks? They're owned by the government, but the government could pay off China in land. What if the government decides to gobble up land the month everyone is behind in their payments and use that to pay off China?

You see, I read President Obama's dad's paper on socialism in Africa. He said don't allow the people to own private land. It's not in the best interest of socialism. How do you get around that in the land of opportunity? You raise the interest rates, and make the people lose it to the banks, and then sell it or use it to pay off your debts to the banks, especially the national banks, like China.

I pray I'm wrong.
